During the second half of the fantasy football I have been giving you my favorite IDP waiver add. Over the years I’ve found that adding IDP free agents was a way to save FAAB and even your waiver wire priority.
With week 15 upon us safe to say that doesn’t matter much anymore. It’s a now or never type of mind-set. Spend all FAAB! Bure your waiver wire priority! That’s why we’ve been saving it all! For this exact moment! Let’s make major adds this week! Plan for an all-out attack!
Here are several IDP adds that will serve you well remainder of your playoffs. You’ve made it this far! Time to bring it home friends!
Leonard Floyd (Los Angeles Rams – LB)
Leo Floyd has been boom-or-bust this season. Yet week 15 and if we’re lucky to still be playing in week 16 offer juicy matchups. Sunday the Rams play the Jets. I like the idea of several sacks and maybe a forced fumble for Leo in this one.
Kerry Hyder (San Francisco 49ers – DL)
On Sunday the 49ers go to Dallas on Sunday and I’m fully expecting them to be living in the backfield. The Dallas offensive line is in shambles.
Harvey Langi (New York Jets – LB)
This one is simple! The Jets will be on defense 60-70% of the time! Seriously though, Harvey has flashed some LB1 type upside from a volume standpoint. If you’re looking for a safe LB2 type floor in the playoffs, then go add Langi.
Kamren Curl (Washington Football Team – DB)
Not to say told you so but told you so. He returned an INT for a touchdown in week 14 vs the 49ers. Why aren’t people adding this kid! By the looks of it Curl is still only about 10% owned! On Sunday Washington hosts the pass heavy Seattle Seahawks. It’s a perfect match-up for Kamren!
Matthew Judon (Baltimore Ravens – LB)
Baltimore looks good on offense! Lamar has them humming. While the Ravens DST has been, how do you say, penetrable to say the least. Upon closer look I’d like to mention Matt Judon. In his last three games he has tallied two sacks, sixteen tackles and six QB hits. In week 15 Baltimore faces the weak Jacksonville Jaguars who are allowing the 10th most sacks. Judon is a high end DL2 in week 15.
Michael Danna (Kansas City Chiefs – DE)
Thirteen tackles and 1.5 sacks for the rookie his last four games. I love how the KC coaching staff is using the 5th round rookie. Playing behind an offense like this that should afford him a few more luxuries.
Shaq Barrett (Tampa Bay Buccaneers – LB)
If you remember Shaq was a hot add last season and being shot out of a cannon with sacks. Well if we turn our attention to this year, he’s been fantastic! Like all free agent adds this late in the season it’s best to grab a guy on a hot streak. Enter Shaq Barrett! In week 14 he had four solo tackles, two sacks and a QB hit. Bringing his total to eight sacks as he sets his sights on a career best in tackles! To me, he’s once again a hot add ahead of a week 15 date in Atlanta!
Marcus Allen (Pittsburgh Steelers – S)
Here is a prime example of opportunity. The Steelers starting safety Vince Williams was placed on the COVID-19 ahead of their week 14 game. In turn Marcus eight total tackles, five of them solo and played 56 snaps total. Keep and eye out on Vince ahead of Pittsburgh’s week 15 tilt in Cincinnati.
Julian Love (New York Giants – CB)
I’ve been told the DB position is the most fruitful of all positions. Meaning, we’re able to pick and choose who we add and start. In week 15 the Cleveland Browns come to New York and their run heavy offense. Yet, I firmly believe Love could play a huge roll in our rosters. He’s starting to rack up tackles and could see an increased workload on Sunday.
DeShon Elliot (Baltimore Ravens – S)
After back-to-back six tackle games he’s now had seven total tackles in three straight games. I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love consistency with my corners. Let’s get wild elsewhere. Elliot has been the model consistency the last five games. Deploy with the utmost confidence.
Rashard Robinson (Dallas Cowboys – CB)
I’ll admit this one is a long shot but R&R, as I call him, had a terrific week 14. He racked up nine total tackles at the Bengals. I went back and watched some of that game while I was doing my notes here. He was never out of position and made some above average leverage plays in space. Meaning, he rarely wasted any movement. I have a feeling about R&R this week at home vs the 49ers.
That’s it! Best of luck this week!
