Wow! We made it! Not all of us! Its fantasy playoff time! As more and more content ceases to exist don’t worry! I fully plan on working my butt off to provide the best possible content to get you to that championship!
We’ve come this far! Let’s keep it rolling!
Myles Jack (LB - JAC)
If you read any kind of waiver wire add articles it’s always best to double check the availability of the players mentioned. Case in point, Myles Jack! In week 13 Jack recorded six solo tackles, five assisted and one fumble recovery. To me he has LB2 upside
but currently has settled into the LB3 territory.
Kenneth Murray (LB – LAC)
It’s taken some time for Ken to develop but he finally showed us his LB1 upside! In week 13 he had 12 solo tackles, two assisted, one sack, two TFL and one QB hit. If you ask me it’s perfect timing for our playoff run! If he’s been on your bench all season time to start him! If he’s a FA in your league its time to add him!
Bryce Hall (DB – NYJ)
This is a classic case of a good player on a bad team. Opposing teams are throwing at the rookie a ton. Which has led to his 6.6 average tackles a game. Many people think an IDP on a bad team has no value. I strongly disagree! Bryce is seeing a ton a work and he’s helping our fantasy teams. At this point in the season he’s little to not owned! Go add the rookie!
Jordyn Brooks (LB – SEA)
I love to see people succeed! I’ve made no secret about my love for Brooks all season! Seattle is finally unleashing the kid. Brooks has had 7+ tackles in his last three starts and has played between 65%-75% of the defensive snaps. Brooks is fast and he attacks sideline to sideline! Exactly what you want in a starting linebacker!
Rayshawn Jenkins (DB – LAC)
Perfect example of adding where needed for only a short amount of time. The inevitable return of Derwin James will kill his value but that’s next season! Add Rayshawn now for the stretch run! He’s had seven or more tackles in six different games. If you need a DB for the playoffs or just some depth, consider adding Jenkins.
Javon Kinlaw (DT – SF)
In certain leagues the defensive line is split up. DT and DE. In turn the DT position isn’t really one of importance. Or you’re always adding and cutting the position. If we turn our attention to Kinlaw few things we need to discuss. One, Javon has started slow. Two, Javon has come on strong the last three weeks. To the tune of 7th total QB pressures, 1.5 sacks, 8 tackles and an interception returned for a touchdown! I firmly believe Kinlaw has the potential to be a game changer for your IDP team in the playoffs!
Quinnen Williams (DL – NYJ)
Quinnen was high on my list before the season started. Kid has massive potential! Williams has now had at least a half a sack in three straight games! In week 14 the Jets play Seattle. A game they probably won’t win but the IDP points should be there! Seattle is currently giving up the third most sacks! Get QW in your lines on Sunday!
Justin Reid (DB – HOU)
Sometimes I look at the schedule ahead then make my decision. Houston has a fantastic schedule ahead for our playoffs! Yes, Justin has had some duds this season but even that’s relative. Meaning, his duds are even great! We have yet to see his best game this season. His ceiling games! It’s happening! Soon!
Troy Reeder (LB – LAR)
If you’re reading this, then it’s safe to say you’re into IDP and you’re very good at it! Only reason I mention that is the fact we all have our own little tricks! When it comes to IDP it’s ok to use a guy up! When that player is no longer useful it’s ok cut him! I firmly believe Troy will take a massive hit when Micah Kiser is back healthy. Until then let’s use Troy up! In his three starts he’s had double digit tackles!
Kamren Curl (DB – WSH)
I mentioned the rookie a few times this season! So much so I added him on my personal 14 team IDP league. As it stands now Curl is averaging about eight tackles a game! Which is fantastic for a DB. This Washington DST has turned a corner! Buy! Buy! Buy!
Others receiving votes!
Romeo Okwara (DE – DET)
Romeo has been on a tear all season! In week 13 he had four solo tackles, one sack, one TFL and a QB hit. The Lions look to be opening it up! Letting it all hang rest of the season! Go add Romeo!
David Onyomata (DT – NO)
If you’re looking for DT depth during your playoff run, I’d strongly consider David! Week 13 saw him muster up two solo tackles, one assisted, one sack, a TFL and one QB hit.
Josh Jones (S – LAC)
Alex Singleton (LB – PHI)
