Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire

Waivers have cleared for Week 11! Did you get the guy you wanted? If you follow me and my content then you know I have an odd way too collecting my IDP waivers!

If you’re lucky enough to play in an IDP league then you know the grind. You also know the fun and joy! Playing in an offensive league along with IDP is a whole other set of rules.

Over the years in IDP formats most teams focus on the offensive side of the ball when waivers clear. While we’re able to go shopping and add any defensive player we want AFTER the fact! It’s a bold move but is successful long term!

Looking ahead to Week 11 there are a few gems to be had! Time for a playoff push!

Emmanuel Ogbah (DE - Miami Dolphins)

Your first thought may be, “why is Chris mentioning this kid AGAIN?!”. Let me answer that one! The Nigerian Nightmare is tied for 4th in sack and has 40 QB pressures so far this season. That tells me he’s legit. Yet he’s still under 25% owned! Why? Go add this guy!

Romeo Okwara (DE - Detroit Lions)

Romeo is on an absolute tear! Another DE we’ve mentioned before. In week 10 he had two solo tackles, one assisted, one sack and one TFL. Trey Flowers is out with an arm injury. Meaning Romeo is seeing DE1 type snaps. Kid is on fire with a few favorable match-ups ahead!

Nasir Adderley (S - Los Angeles Chargers)

Nasir has been on my radar for several weeks. I think it’s time we put pen to paper and talk about it. Adderley has had five or more solo tackles his last three games. In week 10 he had eight solo tackles. He’s been learning and growing all season in the absence of Derwin James. Nasir is locked in as a member of the Chargers secondary. Add him in advance of week 11!

Micah Kiser (LB - Los Angeles Chargers)

After playing poorly and having little to no impact on our fantasy teams to start the season, Micah is back! Racking up ten solo and two assisted tackles vs. SEA in week 10. The Chargers seem to be on the field a whole heck of a lot on defense. Micah can give us LB2 numbers regularly. While LB1 type numbers will appear from time to time.

Everson Griffen (DE - Detroit Lions)

For the first time since I was a child I’m excited for the Lions pass rush! In week 10 Everson had two solo tackles, one assisted , one sack and one TFL. Romeo has been on such a tear I’d like to think opposing offensive coordinators have to account for his whereabouts leaving Griffen with lest coverage and less blocking. Plan on DL3 type production rest of the way. With DL2 fast approaching.

Leonard Floyd (LB - Los Angeles Rams)

After an insane week 10 Leo Floyd is in the top-10 for overall sacks. Tied for 8th to be exact. In week 10 Floyd had five solo THREE sacks (6th, 7th and 8th sacks) two TFL and one forced fumble! A repeat of that would be outstanding but highly unlikely. When we read and write waiver wire articles it’s common to have repeat players week to week. I’m telling you now, last chance to add Leo is NOW!

Jamie Collins (LB - Detroit Lions)

Talk about another LB who went nuts in week 10! Jamie stuffed the box score with nine solo tackles, four assisted, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Jamie has always been a consistent total tackles guy and with Romeo/Griffen getting big time pressure recently it frees up LB’s, Collins, to be more aggressive and active. Add Jamie!

Kamren Curl (S - Washington Football Team)

The rookie played 100% of the defensive snaps Sunday in Detroit. Curl had six solo tackles, two assisted one sack, one TFL and a QB hit. Superstar safety Landon Collins is on IR and is done for the season. It’s Kamren’s job now rest of the way. Kid is hot as a pistol right now and heading into week 11 it’s very tough to find impact players. Need to jump start you DB’s? Add Curl!

Kyle Dugger (DB - New England Patriots)

Is just me or do the Patriots just breed stud DB’s! Next up is the rookie Kyle Dugger! He played a career high 85% of the defensive snap while recording solo tackles and five assisted. If you noticed, Kyle played both as a slot CB and close to the line of scrimmage. He also lined up as a spy honing in on Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. Could this be the start of specialty role for the kid? Regardless, add Dugger now!

Christian Kirksey (LB - Green Bay Packers)

The Green Bay defense can be gashed on the ground. Christian was injured early in the season and from the ownership numbers was dropped. Back on the field in week 10 vs. Jacksonville Kirksey played 100% of the defensive snaps! Moving forward we all know Christian has LB2 type upside. Grab him now based on volume and usage!

Germaine Pratt (LB - Cincinnati Bengal’s)

Pratt isn’t a must add for me but a solid depth option for playoff hopeful teams. He’s given us steadily productive tackle numbers. Having six or more tackles in five games so far this year. Looking ahead, Cincinnati has several plus match-up. Again, add where needed and/or for team depth.

Terrell Lewis (LB - Los Angeles Rams)

Bursting onto the scene in week 10, Lewis had two solo tackles, two sacks and one TFL vs. SEA. The rookie showed LA what he’s made of and should see an expanded role moving forward. DL3 numbers should come easy but there is potential for DL2 down the stretch!

TJ Edwards (LB - Philadelphia Eagles)

In the absence of Nathan Gerry, TJ has stepped up! In week 10 he produced 12 total tackles but only four solo. Like it or not those are still great LB’s numbers. Digging deeper TJ has had double digit tackles in two straight games. The LB2 upside is there and he makes for another great depth option at the LB position down the stretch!

Thanks for reading! I look forward to providing more fantastic IDP waiver wire adds each week moving forward!
